Junior Designer

You: know when to use Photoshop, when to use Illustrator and when to use InDesign, and can prove it. You’re a typography-loving, web-culture-knowing, detail-sweating, collaboration-desiring, direction-taking Designer who wants to work hard and learn. You have more than one good comp in you for any given idea/assignment. Your portfolio has a knack for solid typography, layout, and minimizing clutter.

Bonus point gold star cookies if you’ve designed for the web, know some CSS/HTML, can write more than your grocery list, like to read and throw down a mighty iTunes Library gauntlet.

Us: Our team is small, fast-paced and handles the lifecycle of our website, print collateral, signage, and general communications. We love our open office environment. We don’t like meetings.

Internships

The NewSpring Internship Program is designed to give participants ministry experience as well as a glimpse into the life of someone in ministry.  Participants will work alongside NewSpring staff members and volunteers. Internship Schedule

During the spring, summer and fall semesters intern positions will require a maximum time commitment of 25 hours per week. Semester dates are tentative.

Fall 2010 – Begins August 23, 2010 and ends December 5, 2010. Application deadline for the fall 2010 semester is June 17, 2010. Applicants will be interviewed and notified by July 29, 2010. The fall program is 15 weeks.

Spring 2011 – Begins January 17, 2011 and ends May 1, 2011. Application deadline for the spring 2011 semester is November 1, 2010. Applicants will be interviewed and notified by November 22, 2010. The spring program is 15 weeks.

Summer 2011 – Begins May 16, 2011 and ends August 7, 2011. Application deadline for the summer 2011 semester is March 14, 2011. Applicants will be interviewed and notified by April 18, 2011. The summer program is 12 weeks.

Fall 2011 – Begins August 29, 2011 and ends December 11, 2011. Application deadline for the fall 2011 semester is June 27, 2011. Applicants will be interviewed and notified by July 18, 2011. The fall program is 15 weeks.
